Vanina Rodríguez Garcés born in San Juan, Argentina, in 1978, holds a PhD in Philosophy from the UNED, Madrid. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the National University of San Juan in 2001 and completed a Master's degree in "Art and Public Space" at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg in 2004. She was awarded the gold medal for the highest academic performance in her faculty and received a scholarship for "Academic Excellence" for postgraduate studies in Germany, granted by the DAAD and the National University of San Juan Foundation. She is a research assistant and lecturer at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), where she oversees the Intercultural Competence area at the Institute for Reflection on the Sciences (FAU ZIWIS). Additionally, she serves as a guest lecturer at the National University of San Juan and is involved in an interdisciplinary project at the Güiraldes Institute at the same university. Vanina has developed artistic projects in several countries, including Argentina, Chile, Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland, and has conducted research on topics such as public art and gender theories. Since 2002, she has divided her time between Germany and Argentina, continuing her artistic and academic work.
