Magdalena Pérez Balbi is a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of La Plata. She holds a degree in History of Visual Arts from the same university, a Master's degree in Critical Theory and Museum Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the Study Group on Art, Culture, and Politics in Recent Argentina at the Gino Germani Research Institute (FSOC, UBA) and the Conceptualisms of the South Network. She researches the intersections between art and politics in our country, specifically in artistic activism in the city of La Plata.
