ANA CORNIDE

Ana Cornide holds a PhD from the University of Virginia and is currently a professor of cultural studies and community work in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Arizona. Her current research project explores literature, performance art, and film that challenge inequalities in visual rights by disrupting and manipulating dominant modes of border representation through ephemeral modes of seeing, living, and exchanging. She is also the co-founder of the art production company Split Seed.
