DÉBORA MAJUL

Débora Majul is a CONICET doctoral grant recipient working at the María Saleme de Burnichon Research Center of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities at the National University of Córdoba (CIFFyH-UNC). PhD candidate in Gender Studies at the Center for Advanced Studies (CEA-UNC), she holds a Master's degree in Psychosocial Intervention and Research and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has extensive experience in the field of mental health and sports, combining research, teaching, and community intervention. She is a member of the Social Observatory of Sport (IDAES-UNSAM) and the CLACSO Working Group “Deporte, Cultura y Sociedad” (Sport, Culture and Society). She is part of the research projects “Lógicas y desvaríos corporales: incidencias del conocimiento sobre/desde los cuerpos” (Logics and bodily ravings: incidents of knowledge about/from bodies) (CIFFyH-UNC) and the PICT “Mujeres, poder y política: hinchas y jugadoras disputando derechos en el fútbol argentino” (Women, power, and politics: fans and players disputing rights in Argentine soccer). She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Social Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology (UNC) and in the Outreach Seminar “¿La pelota no se mancha? Fútbol y dictadura en la Córdoba del terror de Estado” (Does the ball not stain? Soccer and dictatorship in Córdoba during the state terror). She is an activist in the organization Abriendo La Cancha Fútbol Feminista.
