ROXANA RAMOS
Roxana Ramos (Cafayate, Salta, 1978). Visual artist, teacher, art manager, and contemporary art researcher. Her transdisciplinary artistic practices and productions are focused on social exploration. She holds a degree and professor in Fine Arts (UNT); a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management (UNC) and a PhD candidate in Humanities, with a focus on Arts (UNT). She holds a Diploma in Innovation and Creativity (University of Salamanca, Spain). In 2024, she received a UCasal Scholarship and collaborated with the University of Granada, Spain. She participated in ARCO Madrid, resulting in Remota Galería (Salta) receiving an award for its stand and the works exhibited, including Ramos's. In 2023, she won the 8M Award from the Ministry of Culture of the Nation. She participated in the Saco 1.1 Biennial. "Golpe" (Given), in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. She received scholarships in 2022 and 2021 from the Torcuato Di Tella University (Argentina); 2019 FNA scholarship, and the Montessori Scholarship from the University of Salamanca; Antorchas; Trama and Riej Academie; Salta Citizens' Fund for Culture; and the Spanish Embassy. She has participated in national exhibitions from 2001 to the present, including, among others, "Biographical Contours" in 2024-25, Recoleta Cultural Center; 2019, Museum of Modern Art; 2021, Itaú Prize, Sívori Museum, Buenos Aires; 2019, MAC; and 2001, Curriculum Zero, Ruth Benzacar.
