Erupciones. Oír lo que queda, tocar la huella

Author:

ROXANA RAMOS

Eruptions. Hearing what remains, touching the trace by the artist Roxana Ramos links the literary essay, the artistic and the environmental. It deals with the history of art, trades and crafts. The visual aspect reflects the performative work, the blues and earth tones of northern Argentina, the shapes of dunes and mountains of the Andes foothills, which the artist shapes with her body, movements and locations. In the second part, the author's text gives rise to literary essays with anthropological, aesthetic, ecological and social perspectives on her poetics and the ties drawn with others, from today and yesterday, just as the studies of researchers analyze and bring concepts closer to e-readers. These are: "What a body can do. Roxana Ramos and her technologies of memory" by Adriana Almada; "Arts/tralities: care, memories and ancestral futurities" by Patricio Azócar & Alina Peña; “Landscape Drawing, a Reservoir of the Sensible” by Marcelo Silva Cantoni; “Ecologies of Memory: Notes on Fieldwork: On the Other Side of the Remnant” by Tatiana Navallo & Ana Cornide; and “Art, the Senses, and Transpersonal Knowledge” by Adriana Musitano.
